[Talk] GNOME 3 - Chance and Burden for Lightweight Desktop Environments

GNOME 3 has been a massive change from previous versions. Some love it, others hate it and switch to other desktop environments. Both Xfce and LXDE benefit from getting more attention, more users and more contributors. Unfortunately GNOME 3 is not only a chance but also a burden: Other desktops can no longer rely on GNOME but have to develop their own solutions - and this is where you come in.
